Hi and welcome to kettlebell-fitness.Denmark!

This is the page for both the International Union of Kettlebell Lifting and the International Kettlebell & Strenght Academy in Denmark. The IUKL is the international sporting body responsible for the promotion of education and competitions with kettlebells.

The origin of the IUKL goes back to 1992 and has now members in over 20 countries! (you can read about it here)

The IUKL is a member of the International Sports Organisations and Multisports Association, and actively co-operates within the structures of the International Olympic Committee.

The IKSA has been created by top athletes and trainers to offer highest quality educational programs for kettlebells, sports, functional fitness and general health. IKSA operates as an educational unit ofthe IUKL.  Check out the line up for IKSA!

My goal is to provide quality information and resources to promote awareness of kettlebells in Denmark - as a sport and their applications to athletic performance, health and fitness.

I have trained and learned from two World champions, Vasily Ginko and Valery Fedorenko. They are both professional athletes who lead the way in the evolution and development of kettlebells for sport and fitness.

Even if you have no intentions of competing, you will benefit from learning the techniques and methods taught here. Those methods have stood the test of time and are used by athletes who still compete in their 50's, 60's and over!
